Card Day - Whoa...

Today I've decided that since I left my camera in Calgary and can't take any new photos for posts, I will post an old card I had some snaps of :)

So in light of the 10cm of snow we recieved today...here is a sunny happy day card!!!
SMILE!!!

I started with the yellow base paper from my DCWV Sunshine Stack. The darker ripped paper is that Corecolors paper  and I just used some orange cardstock for the scalloped piece. OF course, I added 3 jewels from Glitterazzi and some white flower ribbon from Michael's. The stamp is from Michael's $1.50 bin and I used DewDrop Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored it in with my Crayola's and added a tiny jewel by the "Smile" sentiment.

I hadn't done a card post in FOREVER!!!

Card Day

I feel like I haven't posted a card for ages!!!! I have been making so many lately because they have been selling like hotcakes!

I started with some black and white filligree paper I got out of a wedding kit a friend regifted to me. I took a piece of scrap bright pink paper and mounted my faux lace on it, then cut around it. To cover the seam I used some pretty silk bright pink ribbon and tied a nice bow. I used a shiney silver sentiment I've had for years that says "Follow Your Heart".

Card Day

It's Sunday Funday!!!

Good Morning all...
How was your Saturday? What did you get up to?
I was at the market as per usual yesterday morning, and My Paddy was holding down fort at the homestead running a massive garage sale! All our neighbors got together and we had a huge sale and sold all our junk!!! It went really well and we made over $200.00!!!! YAY!!!
The best part was when the sale was over and since the rain was starting we crammed all the leftovers in our garage and went and used our neighbor that is away on holidays covered front porch. Of course the garage sale combined with beer made our day run into dinnertime and before long the Chinese delivery guy was rocking up at the porch! ha!

Today I have a card to share...and it is pretty yummy!!!

I started with a plain white cardstock for the base and wrapped a piece of my favorite polka dot ribbon in green around the whole card. I punched out a white and blue polka dot circle and bordered it with bright blue cardstck cut with my scallop scissors. I added to cupcake stickers I had and a little "Cupcakes!" sentiment in the top corner. Super cute!

That's all for today. It is pouring rain here and I have lots of dance stuff to do since we start back TOMORROW!!!! I can't even believe it! I'm pretty excited {in case you couldn't tell}

Cheers,
Messy

I have so much stuff to do today so it will be a good start this early.

Here is card for you all today:

For this card I started with pale lavander cardstock as the background. I used one of those cute mini cards I always talk about. I mounted it on white cardstock to make it pop and used some purple flower stickers I had in my stash. Card Day

 Hello?
Hi!!!!! :)

I had so many cards to choose from because I had to make a whole shwack load for the market on Saturday. It has been a crazy week. With the long weekend and My Paddy being off on Monday it's like a whole work day was lost! {Oh wait...it was!!!} Last week was my best day ever at the market and I almost sold out of everything!!!! Great news for the company - bad news for inventory. LOL But that's ok, we spent Sunday out and about at our favorite flea markets and found loads of furniture to upcycle!!! Plus, I have been sewing up a storm the last 2 days making accent pillows for our furniture and Bitchy Bags galore!!! :) I got some amazing fabric on Monday and so there are some super cute new styles and colors!

Ok today's card is a thank you card!! No particular reason just cause I needed one. My poor family and friends...they haven't been getting very many cards!!! LOL

I started with white card stock for the base and added a strip of the green polka dot see through ribbon I love so much. I used one of those mini cards from Michael's I got years ago and just cut off the back so I only had the "Thanks" side. I have done this with almost all these mini cards and it's awesome! I mounted it on bright orange card stock to make it pop. I added one white and green leather flower that I got in a vintage bag of buttons from a Church garage sale :) Loves those buttons!

That's it today...
My friend from dance is coming over today for lunch. That's all my news.

Cheers,
Messy

Lalala...Card Day!

I haven't posted a card in FOREVA!!!
I had to bang out a whole bunch of them because I sold so many at the market a couple weeks ago!
Loves it!!!

I started with plain white cardstock for the base of the card. I ahve this stunning deep purple thick ribbon and it is so silky and beautiful. I have wanted to use it forever!!!! I wrapped it around the whole card and tied a nice knot, clipping the ends into peeks. I added this circular "Just Married" sticker ontop after I mounted it on violet cardstock. I added the purple flower with the white bead centers for a little somethin' extra. :)

I seem to sell my wedding cards the fastest - tis' the season I guess! LOL

Cheers,
S.

Only since I have been with My Paddy have I discovered my love for concerts.
We have been to a few, but the best of all time was last years Muse concert is Calgary.
Anyhoo...On the weekend it was Riverfest here in our little town of Brockville and guess who the closing concert was?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
INXS!!!!!!!!!!!
We couldn't believe it...we love them!!! Plus, JD Fortune?!? So hot! heehee
So here are our photos from INXS...

Of course because our new home is located in the perfect locale...we just walked down and didn't have to worry abour parking and traffic!

Overall, it was an awesome concert and me and My Paddy had a GREAT time! YAY for cool date nights!

What's your favorite thing to do for date night?

Here is my card for today kids.

I am going to send this card to our friends Justin and Catherine because they just had a baby boy!!!! So exciting! Wish we were in Calgary to share this time with them :( But such is life. Anyways, I bought them the CUTEST little gift in the world! heehee Can't wait.

I started with a scrap of oivey green and gold polka dot paper and cut the edges in peaks. I added the blue and white stripe ribbon with a bow to the white area on the left.I used a sail boat puffy sticker I had and it is so glittery and cute! I punched out a white circle and bordered it with navy blue Cordinations paper. I used my scallop scissors to cut around. I added a congrats stamp I had already inked up that is from a Michael's $1.50 set. I colored it in with my Crayola pencil and added 3 blue jewels to finish 'er off! :)

Thanks for stopping by today and letting me vent and be uber excited about INXS! lol Still can't believe they came to my small town and I got to see them!!!

New Lot at The Shop

Hey hey hey....sup?!?

I just wanted to let you all know about the new stuff I have just put up in my store. Lots of great stuff, vintage, home made and upcycled. ;)

I am very diligent about inspecting my stuff before I sell it. I clean everything very well, and I only buy the best of materials. I pour my heart and soul into this stuff and I usually have a hard time parting with most of it. My Paddy and I buy everything based on if we would use it or not. :)  We love getting photos of our items being worn or used so please feel free to email me anytime with pics!!! YAY!!!

Ok, onto the stuff...LOL

Upcycled Vintage Rose Mirror - ON SALE
This mirror is the last one I have of a set. It's on SALE right now too!!!!

Betsey Johnson Red Patent Leather Belt

Little Boy & Girl Wood Wall Hanging
This is the cutest little print EVER!

I just painted a few funny/cute canvas' and they turned out great!!!! Take a look HERE!!!

I finally had some time to make some cards this week too! :)

I started with white cardstock as my base and added the teal velvet circle paper overtop. I cut one of the edges in a wavy line and added the green and blue polka dot ribbon in a bow to the free area. I found a miscellaneous kite and cloud puffy sticker and a jewel swirl for motion.

I used my "Soak up the Sun" sentiment from my MFT summer set. I inked it up in Dew Drop Momento Tuxedo black ink and embossed it with some Hologram glitter. I added two green mini brads and pasted that over the velvet paper.

I love all these summery cards I have been making lately!

Hope you guys have been enjoying some Sunday Retail Therapy!!! That's what I do on Sundays, breakfast then Etsy! heehee
