DIY ~ Peacock Feather Art

I am going to apologize in advance for my horrendous photos.
This painting is dark and so hard to get good light on for a photo :(

WHAT YOU NEED:
medium size canvas
3 shades of brown acrylic paint
gold acrylic paint
3 peacock feathers
mod podge
glue gun
foam brush

First take all your paints and make dots allover you canvas.
Now blend them all together and make sure you whole canvas is painted.

While your paint is still wet, carefully place your 3 feathers in the places you would like.
I did all three on an angle to one corner.

Once your paint is completely dry, cover the whole canvas completely in mod podge using your foam brush.
Make sure to completely cover the feathers as well.
It should be a thin layer with no gloops!

HELPFUL HINT: If the thick ends of your feathers aren't staying attached to the canvas, use a little dab of hot glue to stick them down!

Let completely dry and voila!
Purdy painting :)

Cheers,
Messy
