DIY ~ Pillow Cases

This is how you make your boyfriend
TMNT Pillow Cases!

Tally loves the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
He has sheets.

I found TMNT fabric and decided to make him some new pillow cases.

WHAT YOU NEED:
1.5 meters fabric of choice
sewing machine
thread
pinking sheers

Using a pillow case you already own measure your fabric leaving 4 inches extra on one end.

Sew three sides leaving one end open.

Press your seams.

Iron your top opening hem a 1/4 inch down then 2.5 inches down to create a big cuff.

Sew seam all the way around to make a clean hemmed opening.

I hope he loves them!!!

This Is How I Cook ~ Chocolate Swirl Cookies

These cookies are to die for.
They are everything that I love all wrapped up in one delicious morsels of goodness.

Mmmmm...mmmmm...mmm.....

YOU NEED:

Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
Cream Cheese
Vanilla
Cinnamon
Sugar
Chocolate Chips

First roll out your Pillsbury Crescent Rolls.
You can buy them now without the divisions, which is awesome.

In a small bowl mix about a half cup of cream cheese with a little vanilla, some sugar and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Mix well.

Spread cream cheese mixture over your rolled out dough.

Sprinkle with chocolate chips.

Roll up your dough to make one large spiral log.
Cut into cookies.

Place on cookie sheet to bake.
Bake @ 350F for 10 - 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Let me know what you think!!

DIY ~ Tree Tags

Happy Friday!!! :)

Today's DIY is
Tree Tags!

They are so simple and easy and everyone that has seen them thinks I'm "so smart".
Baahahahaha!

YOU WILL NEED:
paint sample sheets (free at any paint store)
green or brown ink pad
confetti stars
ribbon or string
double sided tape
scissors
black ball point pen

First take two paint sheets and tape them together so color is on both sides.

Then cut your paint chips in half so you have three shades on each piece.

Cut them into triangles.

Swipe each edge on a brown or green ink pad.

Using tape or glue, put a small star on the top of each one.

Add a festive comment or a  to and from area.

You can also add a looped string, but I just taped mine to my gifts :)

Cheers,
Messy
