Disney Adventure Part 5 ~ Arabian Nights Dinner Theater

One of our nights a big group of us decided to go to the Arabian Nights Dinner Theater.

It was very exciting with all the horses, a genie, flames and riding tricks.
The dinner was delicious too!

I spent the night with my lil' sista.
One of my dancers has the same birthday as me and we call eachother sisters. :)

We ate and laughed and gasped at all the cool dance tricks :)

Such a fab night!
Glad I did it!!!

DIY ~ Suede Tassel Earrings

I have a large amount of this suede fabric and I absolutely love it.
I saw a cute earring post on Pinterest and thought I would make my own knockoffs.

WHAT YOU NEED:
suede fabric
scissors
hot glue gun
thin silver wire
earring hooks

First cut six 1cm strips that are about 2 inches long.

Place 3 together stacking them one on top of the other.

Fold in half.

Place a 2 inch long piece of wire through the folded loop of your three pieces.
Keep them all together.

Bring your wire to the top and twist ends together.
Add you earring hook to the twisted end.

Take a small piece of fabric and wrap it around all your strands letting it twist a bit so the ends fan out.
Hot glue the end in place to keep it wrapped.

Cut the ends of each tassel on an angle to give it a clean finished look.

That's it...turned out so cute!
These are selling in my shop now...go on and get um :)

This Is How I Cook ~ Ali's Amazeballs Potatoes

I went to my friend Ali's house for dinner one night and she made these potatoes.
Probably the best potato recipe ever.
Perfect for a potluck, amazing as a side.
Totally delicious!!!

First cut up 4 -5 potatoes into small cubes.
Put them in a large corningware and toss with Olive Oil, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, onions and fresh garlic.

Cover in a thick layer of Creamy Cucumber salad dressing.

Lightly sprinkle cheese over top.

Bake at 400Ffor 45 minutes.
Remove and add an extra layer of salad dressing and cheese and broil for 10 minutes to make it melty.
Let sit for 10 minutes before serving!

I am drooling just thinking about these right now...mmm....

Thanks for the recipe Ali :)

DIY ~ Felt Hair Flowers

I love these!!!
They take a lot of felt, but they turned out so cute!!!

WHAT YOU NEED:
felt
hot glue gun
felt pen
circle template
scissors
vintage buttons
hair clip

First cut out your circles.
You will need 5 per flower.

Fold 4 of the 5 circles.
In half, then in half again.
Use a little dab of hot glue in the peak to hold them together.

On your 5th circle put a large dot of glue right in the center.
Now put the points of all 4 of your folded petals into the center fanning out.

Find a pretty vintage button and glue it right in the center.

On the back of your flower glue a hair clip so you can place it in your hair!

Your finished!
They look great beside a pony or at the bottom of a bun!

DIY ~ Bracelet Stand

I'm often looking for new and unique ways to display my products for the market and craft shows.
I have my super cute Tie Cuffs and I needed a good way to show them off.

Here's what I came up with.

WHAT YOU NEED:
paper towel roll
paint
paint brush
metal paper towel holder ($1 at Dollarama)

First paint your paper towel roll white.

Once completely dry put it onto your metal stand.

Now tie your cuffs to it.
You can also collect any type of bracelets and put them on there.
I have another one I use for all my own bracelets.

Product Review ~ Arbonne Hair Conditioner

Remember when I did the Product Review on the Arbonne Hand Scrub here?
Well, today I am going to review the Hair Conditioner!

When I first started using it a few months ago I really didn't care for it.
It made my hair extremely static-y and the top got really greasy fast.

Then my friend Meg's toldme that with good quality shampoo's and conditioners you need to leave it on for less time and rise it out less!
Voila!
Now I LOVE IT!!!!

My hair is silky smooth and so straight and sleek!

It makes it flat iron so nice too!!!

I suggest you try it, along with Megs' lil' piece of advice of course!
