Is there sunshine somewhere?

The weather report said sun today....they LIED!!! It is pouring rain and my poor puppy Chuck Norris is very ill.  I don't know what he ate but he has been up sick with the poops all night! It was a very sleepless evening! {sigh} Pat is going to take him to the vet today because he is walking around hovering like he has to go but can't! It's actually quite funny! LOL
My card today is again a Shelley creation. No challenges in mind, and I am going to search for some that match it! I really liked doing that yesterday! I started with coral cardstock and brought it over the edge a little and cut it off with my scallop sizzors. The deep yellow is actually Coordinations Corecolor paper and I mounted it on cream colored cardstock. I took a scrap of the orange paper with the silver on it from the bin and it was already cut into that shape...I just mounted it on cream cardstock and added it to the card! I used my Little Anya stamp and inked her up in DewDrop Momento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored her in with my Crayola pencil crayons and cut her out. I added 4 yellow brads to make it look like a tag on a card and popped it out with foam tape. I added 3 square jewels and two opposite colored stickers that say "Fun Fun!"
This is such a springy card - too bad it doesn't match the weather!

Thanks for coming by! And thank you to everyone who leaves comments for me - your so wonderful!

Also watch out next week...I bought some stuff for some blog candy and once I hit 60 followers I am going to randomly choose one winner for the prize! I will post all the details next week so keep coming back!!! :)

HAPPY HUMP DAY ;)

Wednesday have always been my favorite day. Half way through the week - the tough part is over - looking forward to the weekend! But now, I also have my Ladies Only Adult Hip Hip Class at Broadway Academy of Dance that I teach. LOVE IT! I have become such good friends with these gals!

Today's card I just made all willy nilly and I am gonna see if I can find challenges to match it. I just needed to freestyle for a day! I managed to use all scraps again which I love because I have 3 full drawers of them! Whew! I started with the blue floral paper as the background and mounted some white sparkle flower paper from my DCVW Glitter stack onto coral colored cardstock. I added the cotton ribbon and the bow because I actually didn't quite have enough of the coral to frame the circle - oops! - so I had to do some sort of masking: ) The stamp is one of my sister-in-laws for a stamp day a long time ago and it is done in DewDrop Momento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock. I colored my blue bird in with my Crayola pencil crayons. I have had the little tags for years and never used one. I often pull them out and then don't get around t using it! I wrote in a pink glitter gel pen "Spring is Sprung!" I added 3 Glitterazzi pearls and 3 flower gems in fuchsia and a blue star clip to hold the tag in place!

Thanks for stopping by and peekin'!
have a great HUMP day! heehee

Happy Monday!

Good morning everyone...how are we all today?
I am well! It was nice to get home after a long weekend of competing! It is so stressful and crazy when your there - it's like a whirlwind of action!!! I needed a nights rest in my own bed for sure!

My kids did so well!

My little kids from Broadway Academy of Dance did fabulously!!! Jessa got 1st and high silver for her first ever tap solo, both my 6 year old groups (Cat and the Hat & Banana Phone) got 1st and high silver, my little helper Raven got high silver and an overall award and Evan got Ruby and an overall award for his Jazz and musical theater solos! I am soooo proud of them all!!!!
Here's a couple pics! So cute!

So, I'm still working on all my Easter cards I need done. I banged a few out last night! I started with sky blue cardstock as the background. I added a scrap of the yellow with silver swirls and a scrap of the red cardstock and mounted both of them on the opposite paper. I used a sentiment from my Cosmo Cricket Hello Sunshine paper pack and cut it in half so it would fit. The bunny stamp is from MichaeL's $1.50 bin and it is by Katie & Co for Hampton Art stamps. I inked it up in DewDrop Tuxedo Black ink and stamped it on white card stock. I colored the little bunny tushies with yellow and blue crayola pencil crayons like I did in my previous post. I added some silk red and floral ribbon down the center with a bow and a few yellow Glitterazzi jewels to finish it off!
Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!
